Universities near Pattaya

Families with teenagers sometimes ask what university options exist close to Pattaya. Most international school leavers go abroad or to Bangkok, but there are options closer to home.

Burapha University

Burapha University is a public university in Bang Saen, in Chonburi province, north of Pattaya. It is the main university on the Eastern Seaboard and teaches mostly in Thai, with some international programmes taught in English.

Bangkok

Bangkok has the largest Thai universities with English-language programmes, including Chulalongkorn, Mahidol and Thammasat. Universities DB has a comparison of the three that covers their English-taught degrees.
